Modern Rooftop Decking
The client's vision for their rooftop terrace transformation was nothing short of spectacular, seeking to elevate their mundane space into a multi-leveled modern oasis. With Maïtanne Hunt at the helm, the project soared to new heights of sophistication and elegance. Understanding the importance of a solid foundation for any design endeavour, Hunt opted for stone composite decking to lay the groundwork for her luxurious vision. Mirrors were strategically placed to create the illusion of expanded space and heightened luxury, while Corteen steel planters housed large, stunning trees, complemented by neutral dark grey planters filled with a lush planting scheme featuring abundant foliage and vibrant native flowers, infusing bursts of colour throughout the terrace.
The Solution
Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of Bali, the chosen decking provided not only durability but also a seamless integration with the surrounding environment. By utilizing Envirobuild Pioneer decking, Hunt ensured that the terrace not only exuded opulence but also remained environmentally conscious. Every detail was meticulously curated, from repurposing decking board leftovers to frame mirrors to strategically placing LED uplighters around pots, adding a touch of enchantment to the ambiance. Through Hunt's expertise and creative finesse, the once lackluster rooftop terrace was transformed into a breathtaking haven where modernity and tranquility harmoniously coexist.
Customer Feedback
"We chose the ’Stone’ colour of Envirobuild composite decking for ease of installation, quality and durability, and to offer a pleasing contrast with the fresh green tones of the planting. "- Maïtanne Hunt
